History
Triad Garages Limited was originally started in 1971, and during the seventies became a Nissan main dealer at Goole and Selby with a supporting used car franchise at South Cave along with accident repair workshops also in Goole. During the nineties the whole business became part of the plc empire and after an interval re-emerged independently at Goole with a used car facility catering for sales service and repairs. The business continued in Goole for a period of ten years when a further garage at Newport was acquired, this is now in the early stages of its conversion into the “Triad” mould.

The Operators
Triad is formed from a business association between father and son team of Keith and Stewart Mell with David Corker the originator of Triad in 1971. Keith has been involved with cars since 1955 when he served his time at a Ford main dealership and carries with him a wealth of experience on cars and workshop matters. His son Stewart served his time at Triad in the Nissan days but has since moved into sales and management combining his practical knowledge with managerial skills and transferring this ability into bringing the newly acquired Newport site up to speed and up to standard.

The Workshop
Triad has always been a family business with a very strong after sales care culture. Our workshops are fully equipped to service and repair all makes of vehicles with direct contact between the customer and the workshop operative seen as a prerequisite for customer satisfaction. Quotations and estimates are freely supplied along with friendly advice to try to solve any car repair problem.

The Sales
Triad prides itself on being able to supply most makes of used cars within a matter of days. Our trade contacts and suppliers built up during a period of thirty years decent dealing have enabled us to call upon huge stocks of quality used cars to suit any budget. The workshop support for sales ensures that every vehicle is conditioned and prepared to a high standard before delivery and after which our sales policy of fairness and decency ensure customer confidence and satisfaction no matter how trivial the fault and irrespective of the price of the car. Triad carries a substansive range of cars at all times and can offer all the usual finance facilities with a number of nationally based finance houses offering competitive rates to qualifying customers.  All cars come fully serviced, MOT and 3 months parts and labour warranty backed by the RMI.
